ABOUT ME



Greetings. My name is Paul Cree.

 

 

I am a writer and performer who creates stories and peoms and theatre, I'm also one half of Beats & Elements theatre company with Conrad Murray and ocassionaly I write and play music. For me, the art is in the little things.


I began performing poems and stories in 2007, at the legendary London open mike night, Poetry Unplugged and have since gone on to perform around the UK at festivals and events such as Bestival, Lattitude, Secret Garden Party, One Taste and the Edinburgh Fringe festival as well as working regularly within devised theatre, performing in over 14 professional productions since 2009, working with artists, venues and companies such as Battersea Arts Centre, Wildworks, Look Left Look Right, Secret Cinema, Kazukho Hohki and Abi Conway 

In November 2013 I wrote and performed my first solo show, A Tale From The Bedsit, working with award winning director Stef O'Driscol, commissioned and produced by the Roundhouse to form part of their critically acclaimed Last Word Festival. 

In 2015, as part of Beats & Elemets with Conrad Murray, we debued our first show at Camden Poeple's Theatre, No Milk For The Foxes, which recived over 13 reviews to a near-sold out 3 week run.

I also released The 90 Sick E.P, working with rapper and producer Elian Gray.
